Who can forget the summer of 2020? The nation was in the grip of a deadly pandemic and demonstrations for social change was taking place in cities across the country. Boss XL Magazine was launched, coincidentally, on the day George Floyd was murdered by police in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Some of the first content posted on the online site was pictures from photographers on the ground in Minneapolis at the murder site.

Atlanta resident and Brooklyn native Carl Agard launched Boss XL Magazine in the summer of 2020 to merge original content on entertainment with financial literacy and highlighting entrepreneurs and business moguls. A real estate professional with over 25 years experience as a Real Estate Broker, mortgage, and small business loan consultant, Agard has a wealth of knowledge to give readers through his magazine. He previously worked in the magazine industry as a contributor to such publications as Upscale, Don Diva, Floss, Krave, and Rolling Out Magazine. He also written and published seven books on real estate, credit and starting a business.

Over these five years, Boss XL Magazine has covered the last five Super Bowls, the Funk Fest Concerts in Atlanta and Jacksonville, The Essence Festival, the American Black Film Festival in Florida, BET Awards and several Red Carpet Premieres.

Besides providing original content on the latest entertainment news and inside tips on finance, Boss XL Magazine also highlight business owners and entrepreneurs on their journey to success and beyond. "I always feel that it is a good balance to provide fun and finance to the reader without having to indulge in negativity and celebrity gossip," states Editor in Chief Agard. "The average reader is hungry for relevant content that will make the quality of their life better."

Boss XL Magazine and their parent organization, Boss XL Media, look forward towards creating original video productions and expanding content with their talented writers and contributors in New York City, Atlanta, Miami, and Los Angeles.
