Comedian Kountry Wayne and MegaMind Media Releases "Strange Love" on Valentine's Day
Updated: Feb 19
Viral comedian Kountry Wayne teamed up with MegaMind Media to produce and release Strange Love streaming on Amazon Prime starting Valentine's Day. Strange Love is a scarytale directed by Carl Anthony Payne ("Martin") and features cast members Marquita Goings ("Woke") and Patrice Lovely ("Boo! A Madea Halloween") with social influencers like Michael "Mike Bless" Anthony ("Raising Dion") and Rolonda "Ro" Rochelle ("Chicago Fire")–from the popular “Kountry Wayne” sketches–and reality stars-turned-actors Shirlene "Ms Juicy" King ("Little Women: Atlanta") and Erica Pinkett ("Society Society").
Strange Love is the first production under the newly formed joint venture Laughing to the Bank Entertainment Group to create both long and short form content for distribution. The group teams Kountry Wayne with Tressa Azarel Smallwood of MegaMind Media.
“I am excited to executive produce my first, hopefully of many, films through Kountry Wayne Entertainment,” says Wayne. “Working with Tressa Azarel Smallwood and her team at MegaMind Media helped fulfill my dream of releasing my first film independently.”
In this film, KountryWayne is a young, sex deprived and handsome African American man who considers himself an alpha male, until he is pitted against his wife, Megan (Marquita Goings), who works as a phone sex operator against his wishes. To help repair their marriage, they purchase a luxury home for $25,000! Things seemed too good to be true until Megan discovers her husband has fallen in love with a sexy ghost that dwells in their new home!
Strange Love is available on Amazon Prime now.
